| Beer + Wine Permit | Statesville no longer levies a privilege license tax. Any new or existing business is not required to obtain or renew a privilege license. Business which hold N.C. ABC Commission permits must still apply for the City of Statesville Beer/Wine Permit. The City of Statesville requires businesses to submit a Liquor License to serve beer, wine and/or liquor. The penalty for engaging in business without obtaining a license is 5% of the amount of the license per month for a maximum of 25%, with a minimum of $5.00. |
