How to Pay Your Utility Bill

Residents can pay their Utility Bill by phone, by mail, in-person, or online.

  1. By Phone: Call 704-878-3564 to pay your bill 24/7 using the automated phone system OR pay Online at https://utilities.statesvillenc.net/
  2. By Mail: Mail your payment to First Citizens Bank | Lockbox 96277 | 6125 Lakeview Road, Suite 800 | Charlotte, NC 28269
  3. In Person: Pay in person at the City Customer Service Office, 301 S. Center St., M-F, 8-5. (Drive thru is available at same address and times)
  4. Online: Pay your utility bill online using the link below.

The Utility + Revenue Collections Department establishes and maintains all customer utility (electric, water and sewer) accounts for the City of Statesville; accepts payment (cash, check, money order, debit or credit card) for utility payments, privilege licenses Beer and Wine Licenses, parking tickets and all miscellaneous revenue for the City of Statesville.

Utility Payment Options

The City accepts cash, check, money order, debit cards and credit cards. You may mail your payment; use the drop box located on Center Street, pay online or come to the office at 301 South Center Street to make your payment. If you are paying by debit or credit card, you must come in to the lobby or pay online. For questions call 704-878-3564 or email.

All parking tickets and other miscellaneous fees can ONLY be paid via MAIL or by coming into the office at 301 South Center Street.

Payment by Bank Draft - Information + Form

The City of Statesville would like to provide you with a convenient way to pay for City services. After you complete the form and send it to us, you can soon forget about writing another check for your utility bill.

Liquor License Application

The City of Statesville requires businesses to submit a Liquor License to serve beer, wine and/or liquor. The penalty for engaging in business without obtaining a license is 5% of the amount of the license per month for a maximum of 25%, with a minimum of $5.00.

Statesville Connects (Payment Assistance Program)

Be a part of our community in a warm and caring way by participating in STATESVILLE CONNECTS. This voluntary assistance program provides emergency assistance for low income families and people in crisis. Funding for the program comes from people like you ... generous customers who want to connect with their neighbors in need!

E-Bill

Instead of receiving a paper bill, Statesville Utility customers can receive an email notifying them that their utility bill is ready. E-bill helps avoid mailing delays, gives you one less piece of mail to sort through, helps keep up with your bill (you always know where it is) and lets you do your part for the environment by saving trees, energy and resources.

To sign-up, look at the green box on the front of your monthly utility bill. Follow the directions in the box to register for E-bill.

Occupancy Tax Form PDFOccupancy Tax Report - Tax is due on the 15th of the month for the previous month rent.
