Car Seat Check

Make sure your child is riding safely - join us for our upcoming 2026 Car Seat Check Events in partnership with Safe Kids Iredell County, the Statesville Fire Department, and the Statesville Police Department.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site to provide free car seat inspections and guidance. Whether you’re installing a new seat, transitioning to a booster, or just want peace of mind, we’re here to help!

At each event, you can:

✅ Have your car seat checked by a Certified Technician

✅ Get all of your car seat safety questions answered

✅ Learn proper installation for car seats and booster seats

✅ Find out if your child’s seat is the right fit—or if it’s time for a change and what steps to take next

2026 Event Dates & Locations:

• April 27: Trinity Fire-Rescue (2968 Wilkesboro Highway, Statesville)
• June 29: Statesville Fire Station 3 (779 Eastside Drive, Statesville)
• July 27: Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department (672 Mocksville Highway, Statesville)
• August 31: Ebeneezer Fire Rescue (1002 Turnersburg Highway, Statesville)
• September 28: Statesville Fire Station 5 (533 Gaither Road, Statesville)

No appointment needed - just bring your child, vehicle, the car seat you are using, and any questions you may have.
