The City of Statesville Fire Department (SFD) is dedicated to the safety and protection of our community's quality of life from hazards through a well-trained, professional, rapid response team, seeking opportunities to serve, and placing others before self.

Our dedicated firefighters and staff serve the City of Statesville with integrity, teamwork, and a strong focus on safety education and community engagement. From emergency response and fire prevention to public outreach and risk reduction, we work every day to build a safer Statesville for those who live, work, and visit here.

The Statesville Fire Department serves a population of approximately 30,220 residents across 24.86 square miles. We employ 85 full-time personnel who staff four fire stations and five companies, providing professional, reliable fire protection and emergency services to the City of Statesville.
