Training in Action: Statesville Fire Department Prepares for Real-World Response

Before winter weather took center stage, the Statesville Fire Department’s newest firefighters were hard at work sharpening their skills during hands-on training at South Iredell Fire & Rescue.

The training focused on critical, real-world firefighting techniques, including hose movement and advancement in live fire conditions, forcible entry, and search and rescue operations. These skills are essential in preparing firefighters to respond quickly and effectively when emergencies arise in our community.
