Revitalizing Statesville: Major Developments Coming to East Front Street

Last Updated 4/19/2024Posted in Latest City News, Homepage

Exciting changes are on the horizon for East Front Street in Statesville!

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of a significant redevelopment initiative stretching from South Center Street to South Tradd Street. This project promises to enhance our community with an expanded police station, a brand-new parking deck, and a picturesque park.

However, to make way for progress, three structures at 124, 128 (the old Price’s Auto), and 150 East Front Street (the former Parrish Tire building) will be demolished.

Beginning May 1, 2024, these locations will no longer offer public parking. Residents and visitors are encouraged to utilize the free parking facilities available on Cooper Street and East Sharpe Street.
