Statesville Heritage Festival

The Statesville Heritage Festival, part of Statesville's America 250 Celebration, honors the people, stories, and traditions that have shaped our community and our nation. The festival will feature historical exhibits, live entertainment, cultural displays, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to connect with local organizations.

As part of the festival, the City of Statesville's school supply drive will support the Village Intervention Partnership's (VIP) annual backpack giveaway, helping local students prepare for the upcoming school year. School supplies collected through the drive will be used to fill backpacks distributed to students and families attending the event.

By combining the school supply drive with the Statesville Heritage Festival, the city and its community partners are celebrating our shared history while investing in the next generation.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the Statesville Heritage Festival on Saturday, August 1, at the Statesville Event Center. Additional details about the festival, exhibits, entertainment, and activities will be announced in the coming weeks.

Residents who would like to support local students but are unable to attend the festival are encouraged to make donations at any of the designated collection sites through July 24.

Together, we can help ensure every child begins the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.
