Stakeholder Meeting for Free Nancy Branch Creek Improvement

Creek Improvement on Free Nancy Branch Free Nancy Branch flows through the heart of Statesville and is very important to the local environment of our community. Seeking to improve water quality and the property surrounding this creek, we are developing a plan for improving Free Nancy Branch’s stability and ecological health. We will be hosting walk-in meetings to gather input from local stakeholders on Thursday September 15th, Thursday October 20th, and Thursday November 17th from 4-6 pm at: Statesville Fitness & Activity Center 1875 Simonton Road Statesville, NC 28625 We will have maps showing the creek and surrounding properties so that citizens can highlight project needs and speak with our watershed team. We welcome any input on how we can improve the creek and surrounding streets and greenways in a sustainable way. Please bring photos and ideas to this meeting.
