Mayor Kutteh began his journey in local governance as an at-large council member, serving the community from 1989 to 2005.  During these years, he demonstrated a keen understanding of the city's needs and a remarkable ability to build meaningful relationships with fellow council members and citizens alike.

His dedication to public service did not go unnoticed, and in 2005, he took on the role of Mayor, a position he has held with distinction ever since.
