Exit 45 Sewer Line Extension

Project Update: March 1, 2026

The project has completed design and is being held for future implementation as development continues in the I-77 Exit 45 corridor, including the Larkin Regional Commerce Park area.

The project includes approximately 15,230 feet of 30-inch and 36-inch sewer line beginning at Exit 45, extending east along Amity Hill Road, and looping north around Larkin Regional Commerce Park to the Third Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.

With design complete, the project is ready to move forward when additional sewer capacity is needed to support growth in the area.

Project Update: January 2026

This project has reached final design and is now being placed on the shelf for future implementation. The completed design will allow the City of Statesville to move forward efficiently when sewer capacity is needed to support growth in the I-77 Exit 45, Larkin Business Park, and Amity Hill Road areas.

Having the project fully designed positions the City to respond quickly to development demand and infrastructure needs as they arise.

Project Update: October 30, 2025
