John Hatcher, Grants Manager

John Hatcher serves as the Grants Manager for the City of Statesville, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the city's ARP grants and implementing strategies to streamline grant management processes. With a keen eye for compliance, John ensures that all grant-funded projects adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. He manages budgets, tracks expenditures, and prepares detailed reports for City Manager and/or City Council, providing transparent insights into grant activities.

In addition to his core responsibilities, John manages subrecipient grants, offering guidance and training to ensure proper fund management and compliance. He conducts monitoring to track progress and adherence to grant specifications. Furthermore, John reviews HOME funds requests and monitors active projects with the city’s community partner as well as communicating results to city leadership and elected officials contributing to community development initiatives.

John's dedication to effective grant management extends to maintaining comprehensive grant-related resources and reviewing grant submissions for the city's programs. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of his work, ensuring the successful implementation of grant-funded projects and programs within the City of Statesville.
